Welcome to WessexWeather, an independent weather station serving Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire since July 2009. Based near Salisbury until December 2015, we are now situated in the picturesque village of Sturminster Marshall near Wimborne Minster, Dorset, in the heart of the ancient kingdom of Wessex in Southern England.

Data is recorded using a Davis Vantage Vue weather station mounted at 2m, with a supplementary Davis anemometer mounted at 10m, both connected to Meteobridge which uploads it to the Internet for presentation in these web pages by the excellent Meteotemplate.
